«Let the Journey Begin» explores the lives of three individuals and their families as they progress through the Independent Living Support Initiative (ILSI) program over the course of twelve months. ILSI is an innovative program designed to assist people with a disability transition from family-based living to more independent living arrangements. Throughout the documentary we watch Sophie, Jane and Leigh gain valuable living skills, set goals, dream big and gain more confidence.
