Benedikt Lika is a young band director and an artistic director of a symphony orchestra, as well as a person with an active life philosophy. Due to a rare metabolic disorder Benedikt has to use a wheelchair, but it doesn’t limit his life in any way. He will graduate from Augsburg Higher School of Music and he has also launched the “Roll and Walk” Project: twice a year his young people’s orchestra plays in Augsburg’s Golden Hall. Benedikt Lika has chosen Russia to be the primary topic for “Roll and Walk” this year.
